MultiMax Engineering Works started in 1978 with supplying replacement Heat Exchangers and Tube Bundles to the Power sector in India. In those days, while the original power plant was supplied by BHEL, the maintenance requirement of replacement exchangers was catered to by vendors like MultiMax. Over the 80s and 90s, MultiMax supplied Intercoolers, After Coolers, Hydrogen Coolers, Exciter Coolers and Lube Oil Coolers to various NTPC Power Plants like Auriayya, Korba, Sonebhadra, Singhrauli.
By early 2000s, MultiMax entered the Fertilizer and Oil&Gas sector supplying bigger and more critical exchangers to Fertilizer units like NFL Nangal, Bhatinda and Panipat and Refineries like IOCL Mathura, Gujarat, Barauni, Haldia and Panipat refineries. By the end of the decade, the company became enlisted with PDIL and EIL and also received ASME U Stamp authorization under M/s Lloyds.
The first major breakthrough project in Oil & Gas for MultiMax was IOCL’s greenfield Paradip Refinery Project in 2011. The company supplied 95 Heat Exchangers and 42 Pressure Vessels for this project under various EPCs such as Essar Projects, Punj Lloyds, Toyo and thyssenKrupp. Thereafter, over the previous decade the company expanded its reach to Middle East as well supplying to Qatar Gas and QAPCO.
Today, MultiMax is a well established “Heat Transfer Equipment expert” having more than 2000 exchangers installed in almost all the refineries, petrochemical and fertilizer plants in India. We are a regular vendor with major PMCs/EPCs like Technip, Toyo, thyssen Krupp, EIL, PDIL.
